Katie Benson of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has been named USCAA Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. Against 2016 USCAA Women’s National Championship participant Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse, Benson had a part in each goal. She assisted on the opening goal of the game and scored the following three; including scoring her second goal from outside the box just moments after the start of the second half.
