Lexie Mirenda of Carlow University has been named USCAA Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. The Carlow Celtics had two games last week against Westminster University and Shaw University, both NCAA Division II institutions. Mirenda did not allow Shaw University to score in their match making five saves to keep the clean sheet. Against Westminster the senior keeper was called upon to make 12 saves in the game, allowing just two shots to find the back of the net.
