Allison Wakefield of SUNY Canton has been named USCAA Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. Wakefield tallied 18 saves in a week that featured tough games against defending USCAA National Championship University of Maine-Fort Kent and Clarkson University. Wakefield kept her team in both games with 9 saves against Clarkson and 8 versus UMFK. The sophomore ended her week with a shutout of University of Maine-Presque Isle, her fourth clean sheet on the season.
