COACH OF THE YEAR: Carol Lamarche • SUNY Canton

Coach LaMarche has created a regional power in just the team's fourth year as a program including back-to-back 28 win seasons in 2012 and 2013. Besides the success on the court, Coach LaMarche has helped her women become well-rounded individuals as they are extremely involved in the community from volunteering at the local soup kitchen, to building volleyball snowmen in the local park, hosting local tournaments and volunteering at the Special Olympics and Roos Hop to Help where student-athletes go out in the community and perform raking and other household activities for the elderly and disabled. Aside from the team's volunteer work Coach LaMarche serves on the USCAA Coaches Poll Committee and has been a Tournament Director for the USCAA National Championships for three years as SUNY Canton completes its third consecutive year hosting the Championship. Coach LaMarche sets a great example for her players both on and off the court.
