Peyton Robinson of the SUNY Canton has earned this week’s Volleyball Setter of the Week honor. Robinson week averaged 11.27 assists and 2.18 digs per set as the Roos improved to 23-7 after a 3-0 weekend. The freshman posted 46 assists, just one short of her career-high, to go with 10 digs in a five set win v. Alfred State on Sunday. She dished out 35 assists and added 11 assists in a sweep of SUNY Delhi. Robinson’s only other match of the week included a 43 assists performance v. Maine Fort Kent. She eclipsed the 1,000 assist plateau in just her first season of collegiate volleyball.
