Sara Hassell of Illinois Institute of Technology has been named USCAA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week. The freshman middle hitter put up impressive numbers in a 2-1 week for the Hawks from Illinois Tech. Hassell racked up 56 kills (5.6 k/s) including 18 kills and 5 service aces against Mount Mary. On the defensive side of the ball she had 33 successful digs and 6 blocks.
