Melanie Rios-Nevarez of Dean College has been named the USCAA Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week. In a 2-1 week for the Bulldogs of Dean College, Rios-Nevarez averaged 8.62 assists per set, while racking up 3 digs per set. In a tough fought 3-2 match against Becker College, the sophomore from Puerto Rico had a career high 42 assists and 17 digs. In their following match, she notched another 32 assists with 13 digs. She completed her with 38 assists and 10 services aces in their final match of the week against Newbury College.
