Aine McMorrow of SUNY Canton has earned this week’s Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honor. McMorrow continued her impressive rookie campaign breaking her own SUNY Canton program record from last time out as she covered the 5-kilometer course in 19:24 on Saturday at the Cross Country Only Championships in Geneva. McMorrow broke her previous mark by 38 seconds to finish in second place, just seven seconds back of the race winner. This is her fifth time in six career races that she has finished in first or second place individually.
