Mike Fischer currently sits at the Immediate Past President after serving as the Board President for the last four years (elected in 2016 after being selected to the Board in 2015).  Michael, the President of York County Community College (2021 USCAA Member), has strong connections to the USCAA.  

Prior to assuming the Presidency of York County Community College,  Mr. Fischer was at Great Bay Community College focusing his passion on transforming student lives. He held leadership roles in student affairs, college operations, enrollment management, student life, and economic and workforce development. He also led and worked on several student enrollment initiatives including the College’s addition of intercollegiate athletics.  Additionally, Fischer served as a special advisor to the president and led several fundraising campaigns.

Michael Fischer holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Springfield College, Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning from Purdue University Global, Doctorate of Education in Transformative Leadership from the University of New England.
