PITTSBURGH, PA -- Registration for the 2022 USCAA National Convention is now open (uscaa.ticketleap.com). The Convention will be held at the Winston-Salem Marriott in Winston-Salem, North Carolina – June 11-14. An official agenda will be announced in the coming weeks.
The USCAA National Convention is an annual meeting of USCAA Athletic Directors, administrators, and coaches. The event includes Town Hall sessions on championships, ratings/selections and bylaws, business meetings, as well as professional development and social opportunities. Members are highly encouraged to send at least one representative.
Information on how to book your trip to Winston-Salem, North Carolina is available on the Convention website. Attendees will be able to register for the event and book rooms using the convention website. Please note that registration and room booking are separate actions. The “Registration” link on the convention website sends you to the USCAA Ticketleap site where you can purchase your registration. The “Book My Room” link will provide you a phone number to call to make your reservation directly with the hotel.
The cost of Convention registration is $295 but if you purchase before January 15th you will receive early bird pricing of $245. This includes registration, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the conference, breakfast and luncheons throughout, and tickets to USCAA Hall of Fame Dinner and socials. Pretty much all you have to pay for is your travel to Winston-Salem!
Guests (spouses and children) are invited and can purchase meal tickets for an additional cost at uscaa.ticketleap.com. A meal ticket gives guests access to the welcome social, breakfasts, and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Rooms at the Winston-Salem Marriott start at $159 a night for a single or double occupancy. Rooms must be booked by May 15th to get the USCAA’s group rate.
This year’s convention features several unique professional development topics important to sports administrators. Additionally, in collaboration with our host – Visit Winston-Salem, we will host group social events, which are outstanding networking opportunities.
Additionally, the USCAA is opening calls for legislation proposals and Town Hall discussion April 1st. Those forms are also located on the convention website. All proposals should be emailed to info@theuscaa.com. A detailed email on proposals will be distributed in late March. We encourage members to be a part of positive change and submit ideas for Town Hall or legislation!
