Christendom College Earns 2025 USCAA Presidents Cup

PITTSBURGH, PA. – The 2024-25 USCAA President’s Cup awards were presented to the top three in the final standings on Monday, June 2nd at the USCAA National Convention.

The President’s Cup is given to the member institution that achieves the highest academic point total for the year.  Rankings include: individual sport GPA, with the USCAA considering the top five from each institution, the overall department GPA and finally the number of student-athletes named to the National All-Academic teams.   

3rd Place  - Carlow University - Athletic Director, Lou Zadecky

• Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.69 highlighted by Women's Cross Country with a 3.83
• Total program GPA is 3.21
• Had 59 National All-Academic award winners this season 

2nd Place – Johnson & Wales Charlotte - Athletic Director, Trudi Lacey

• Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.57 highlighted by Men's Golf with a 3.79
• Total program GPA is 3.33
• Had 45 National All-Academic award winners

Presidents Cup Champion - Christendom College - Athletic Director, Patrick Quest

• Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.61 highlighted by Women’s Cross Country with a 3.8
• Total program GPA is 3.51
• Had 39 National All-Academic award winners this season
