USCAA All-American Process

The USCAA utilizes PrestoSports' online awards platform for nominating and voting for USCAA All-Americans nominations. After the nomination period is opened (as communicated via USCAA website and press release), coaches can log into the system to nominate their student-athletes. Below you will find instructions on how to access and use the system.

All-American Nominations

Once you login, you will be able to see all the available nomination categories.  Click 'nominate' on the respective award you wish to submit (whichever sport you are nominating for). You will then choose your team from the drop down menu. If your team is not shown, please upload your roster into PrestoSports. From here you will see all of your players and their cumulative yearly stats. The stats shown are based off of your reporting submissions. Click the select button on the left hand side corresponding to the player you wish to nominate. Please nominate as follows.

Volleyball: Three nominations per team will be accepted.

Soccer: Four nominations per team will be accepted.

Basketball: Three nominations per team will be accepted.

Those that are nominated and do not meet the 75% criteria will still be eligible for honorable mention recognition. Pitchers in baseball and softball will be exempt from this policy.

All-American Selections

After votes have been calculated using the online system, the USCAA will then send a spreadsheet with the votes to a final selection committee. The purpose of that committee is to review votes, discuss player merit, and solve tiebreakers. The scope of the selection committee is limited to not allow excessive deviation from the votes tallied from the membership. USCAA All-Americans are officially announced at the championship banquet.

Note 1: Honorable Mention selections for Division I Soccer and Division I Volleyball will not exceed five student-athletes. The number of Honorable Mention All-Americans for each other sport will be determined by the selection committee.

Note 2: First and Second-Team All-American selections for soccer are made by position. The structure is as follows; four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders, and two goalkeepers.
