YSCC Women's Soccer Championship match set

CONCORD, New Hampshire (NHTI) -- The 2019 Yankee Small College Conference Women's Soccer Final Four kicked off from Concord, New Hamphire Saturday. The NHTI Lynx played host to the tournament. 

 

Central Maine CC moves on to YSCC Championship with 1-0 win over NHTI

Concord, NH – Central Maine CC Mustangs moved on in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Final Four on Saturday by beating the NHTI Lynx 1-0. Katelynn Greene (Poland, ME) had the goal for the Mustangs in the 15th minute. NHTI outshot Central Maine CC 50 (32) - 21 (15). In net for the Lynx Madison Merchant (Webster, NH) stopped 14 shots. In net for the Mustangs Ali Sult (Lisbon Falls, ME) made 32 saves for the shutout win.

 

Southern Maine CC Women's Soccer Advances to YSCC Championship After Defeating Paul Smith's College 1-0

Concord, NH – Southern Maine CC advanced to the YSCC Championship by defeating Paul Smith's College 1-0. Southern Maine CC will take on Central Maine CC at 10:30 am tomorrow at NHTI. In the game Callie O'Brien (S. Portland, ME) got the goal in the 68th minute. In net for the Seawolves Calley Baker (Jay, ME) stopped two shots. For Paul Smith's College Ashley Flynn (Ganesvoort, NY) stopped 10 shots. Southern Maine CC outshot Paul Smith's 17-2 in the win.

 

The Central Maine Community College Mustangs will face off against the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
