Touro Proves To Be Too Much For Vaughn Warriors

CORONA, N.Y. - On Tuesday, November 22, the Vaughn College men's basketball team hosted non-conference opponent Touro College at Elmcor Recreation Center. The Warriors have had close games against Touro College for the past few seasons. Tuesday night's game was no different. It was a nip-tuck back-and-forth game between two hungry teams fighting for a win. In the end Touro College would outlast the Warriors. The final score of the game was 75-66 in favor of Touro College.

The Warriors were led by DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX) and Fabrizio Dottin (Queens, NY). Price poured in a game-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds. Dottin finished with a double-double, 16 points and 15 rebounds. Jaime Sanchez (Bronx, NY) added 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. Cedric Green (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in seven points.

The Warriors will be off for the remainder of the week to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday break. They will be back in action on Tuesday, November 29, when they host New England Baptist College.
