Wildcats Fall To Hot-Hitting Westfield State, 3-0

LONGMEADOW, MA –

The Bay Path University volleyball team lost to NCAA Division III
program Westfield State on Saturday afternoon, 3-0, at the Longmeadow Adult Center.

The visitors took the contest 25-16, 30-28, 25-17 as they hit .214, opposed to just .167 for Bay
Path. The Wildcats fought hard, especially in the second set that went back and forth before
Westfield State took the set, 30-28.

Anastaasiya Tsetsko (Horsham, PA) led Bay Path with 11 kills. Lilly Kibbe (Ware, MA) and Asja
Kazic (West Jordan, UT) each added seven kills. Michelle Santiago (Springfield, MA) dished out
14 assists, while Zomar Betancourt (San Juan, PR) added 12.

Defensively, Shanayah St Phard (Springfield, MA) led all players with 17 digs. Kibbe added eight
digs and Santiago had seven. They finished with six total blocks, led by four from Mckenzie
Labier (Beckett, MA).

Bay Path returns to action with a pair of matches at Fitchburg St. next Saturday. The Wildcats
will play the hosts at 11:00 am, followed by a match against Suffolk University at 1:00 pm.
