Ndiaye Records Second Hat-Trick Of The Season

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - The Warriors hosted the New School Narwhals on Saturday, September 24. The non-conference match was played at Randall's Island on field 44. The Warriors entered the game coming off a difficult loss in their previous contest. 

There were a lot of fans that came out to support and watch both teams compete. The Warriors struggled in the first half to find their rhythm. New School to advantage of the Warriors' early woes and scored three goals in the first 45 minutes of play. 

The Narwhals opened up the second half scoring their fourth goal of the game. The Warriors would respond. Macoumba Ndiaye (Harlem, NY) put the Warriors on the scoreboard after a free kick goal from outside the 16yd hash mark. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they would concede their fifth goal of the game to the Narwhals on a broken play.

Ndiaye recorded his second goal of the game on a breakaway play to keep the Warriors in the game. After being tackled in the penalty box, Ndiaye recorded his third goal on a penalty kick to keep the Warriors comeback chances alive. This was Ndiaye's second hat-trick in four games.

Time would run out on the Warriors as they attempted to complete an incredible comeback. The Warriors would go on to drop their third game in a row to the Narwhals. Once again, the Warriors showed great signs of growth.
