WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team downed Penn State Wilkes-Barre 10-0 on Tuesday in Penn State University Athletic Conference action.
The Lions, who outshot Wilkes-Barre 53-1, extended their conference unbeaten streak to 73 consecutive games.
Lex Smith (Centreville, Va./ASU Preparatory Academy) led the scoring parade with four goals, while Zack Bardwell (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) netted a pair of markers.
Francis Sarpong (Germantown, Md./Northwest) added a goal and an assist and both Khafren Smith (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) and Jayden Barragan (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) tallied two helpers.
The Lions received one save on the day from Patrick Corley (Southampton, Pa./William Tennett), who earned the win, while splitting time in goal with William Manarpaac (Boerne, Texas/Samuel V. Champion).
Brandywine (14-0-2, 7-0 PSUAC) will host Penn State New Kensington for Senior Day on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
