How It Happened

Penn State Mont Alto raced out to an early 5-0 advantage and then Fayette quickly stole back the momentum with an 8-0 run of their own. A Dasilas Jones layup and Torian Jenkins jumper pushed the Fayette lead to 14-8 with 14:02 left in the first half. Jones would later convert on an and one to push the lead to 19-12 with 9:27 left.

 

A Caleb Eckert layup cut the lead to 35-28 at the half. Penn State Fayette shot 54% in the first half behind 13 points from Dasilas Jones and 11 from Carlton Canaday. Penn State Mont Alto went 33% in the first half behind 14 from Eckert and seven from Cameron Williams.

 

In the second half, Penn State Mont Alto would get as close as eight points as Penn State Fayette used a 41 point second half to come away with the PSUAC victory. Torian Jenkins led all second half scoring with 15 on 6 of 9 from the field. Dariel Rivera scored ten second half points for Penn State Mont Alto, shooting 4 of 7 from the field including 2 of 5 from the charity stripe.

Caleb Eckert was te leading scorer for Penn State Mont Alto with 20 points and four rebounds. Dariel Rivera scored 12 and Cameron Williams scored 10 to round out the leading scorers. Conference leading scorer Fayette's Dasilas Jones was held to his season-low output with 19 points.
