Warriors Take Down New School For Homecoming

CORONA, N.Y. - The Vaughn College Warriors defeated the New School Narwhals on Friday, November 18, in front of a packed fan-filled crowd. The energy and spirit from the Vaughn Warriors supporters gave the the men's basketball team a huge advantage over the Narwhals. The Warriors played extremely well throughout the entire game. The victory marks the second win-in-a-row for the men's basketball team to keep their streak alive. 

The Warriors had 12 players register points in the triumph. Beandre Wafer (Texarkana, TX) led the way with a monster double-double, 21 points and 17 rebounds. Jaime Sanchez (Bronx, NY) and Ean Chambers (Ewing Township, NJ) both had nine points a piece. DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX) added eight points and three steals. Joshua Waithe (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in six points and three rebounds. 

The Warriors will continue their stretch of home games on Sunday, November 20. They will host Great Bay Community College at Elmcor Recreation Center.
