Auburn, ME - In only their second conference game of the 2019 season, Central Maine hosted Unity College in an YSCC matchup in front of another large crowd on the Mustang Turf Complex. The Mustangs came out a little flat and it took them about 10-minutes to get the engines fully up to speed but once they did, it was an all-out attack.

At the 31-minute mark first-year, Lauren Clough (Mount Vernon, ME) put CM on the scoreboard with her first collegiate goal. The first and decisive goal of the game would prove to be the game winner with an unassisted goal, driving home a shot from a ball that came off a Ram defender.

The Mustangs kept their foot on the gas and with 30-seconds to go in the first half, Leya Harvey (Poland, ME) brought the ball down the left side of the field and found Deliah Schrieber (Lisbon, ME) in front of the Ram net, who slipped the ball to Samantha Belardo (Russell, MA) for her second goal of the season. This backbreaking goal put the Mustangs ahead 2-0 going into the halftime break after a 17 to 1 shot advantage.

Central Maine began the second half wanting to increase their lead and they did not disappoint. Seven minutes into the half Tabie Tlumac (Readfield, ME) notched her second goal of the season to give the Mustangs a 3-0 lead. The Mustangs continued to attack the Unity goal and at the 78-minute mark Katelynn Greene (Poland, ME) scored her first goal of the season for the fourth and final tally of the game.

The Mustangs outshot Unity by 30 to 2. Skyler Henry (Waterford, CT) made two saves for the win. The Mustangs (3-1, 2-0 YSCC) travel to Concord, NH to take on perennial conference leader, NHTI, in a pivotal YSCC matchup.
