New Jersey men's soccer team uses balanced effort to shut down Bryant & Stratton-Albany 2-0 on Saturday afternoon

The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team captured its second consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon, turning back the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton-Albany by a score of 2-0. With the win, the Knights improved to a mark of 6-3-1 on the 2019 campaign, while the Bobcats dipped to a record of 3-4.

Berkeley scored both of its goals in the early stages of this contest, and both were registered by Sebastian Cannizzo, with in the 12th and 15 minutes, respectively. Veteran Marcos Hidalgo was credited with assists on the goals.

Senior goalkeeper Robert Parker recorded a shutout and made eight saves for Berkeley.

The Knights will enjoy Sunday off before returning to action on Monday afternoon, as Berkeley will take to the road to battle Rowan College of South Jersey. Start-time for the contest is scheduled for 3:30pm.
