After dropping a 3-0 match on Tuesday night, the Golden Eagles volleyball team bounced back in a big way winning a four-set match on the road at Ohio State Mansfield on Thursday. The 3-1 win over the Mavericks was the second time in a week that the Navy and Gold handed OSU a loss after winning in three straight at home. This time the match was a little closer.

KSU Tusc won the first set 25-22 and the second 25-20, before the hosts bounced back to take the third set 25-22 and send the match into overtime. The deciding set was a seven point, 25-18 win for the Eagles who took control early and evened their record at 5-5 on the season. They have now won three of their last four matches and four of their last six.

The winners were led by Mya Blochlinger with 18 kills, Ciera Romig's 15 kills and Morgain Little had eight. Karlee Peach had 24 assists and Jamie Myers had five digs.

On Sunday, KSU travels to Ohio University Lancaster for a tri match with the Panthers and West Virginia State University.
