Fayette drop Conference Opener

Lemont Furnace, PA- The Penn State Fayette Volleyball team had a rough start to their first PSUAC Conference game of the season, losing the match 2-3 (25-20, 25-20, 23-25,13-25,8-15).

Coach Joel Wingard spoke about the match, "The team went out and put up a good effort tonight. We are really finding the dynamics that work with this team and are seeing some surprising elements to our game. I believe this was a solid opportunity to learn a litle more about our strengths and now we can reinforce those going further into the season, making us a more dangerous team each match."

Pasepa Buwawa (Uniontown, PA) lead Fayette with an outstanding career high of 17 kills and 19 digs, sister, Bella Buwawa (Fort-Worth, Texas) was right behind her with 16 kills and 14 digs.

Fayette(2-5) will be on the road this weekend as they take on PSU Beaver (0-6) in Monaca, PA.
