MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine scored five times during the first 16 mintues and never looked back as the Lions posted a 14-0 Penn State University Athletic Conference men's soccer victory over Penn State Mont Alto on Wednesday afternoon.

Chris Manful (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn) scored his first of three goals just 61 seconds into the match and the Lions would pour it on from that point.

Manful's seven points paced 14 Brandywine players who tallied at least one point during the game. Zack Bardwell (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) added two goals and two assists, while Lex Smith (Centreville, Va./ASU Preparatory Academy) scored twice and distributed one assist.

Robbie Warren (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) added a pair of second-half goals, while Francis Sarpong (Germantown, Md./Southwest) collected a goal and two assists.

Adding to the goal column for Brandywine were Harry Angelis (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll), Sammy Amin (Reading, Pa./Muhenberg), Josh Land (Boerne, Texas/Samuel V. Champion) and Alexis Cordova Bernal (Oxford, Pa./Avon Grove).

Patrick Corley (Southampton, Pa./William Tennett) needed to make just one stop in goal during 77 minutes of action before being relieved by William Manarpaac (Boerne, Texas/Samuel V. Champion).

After Manful, Bardwell and Smith combined for five goals during the first 15:52, the Lions tacked on four more tallies during the opening 45 minutes to open up a 9-0 halftime lead. Brandywine, which outshot Mont Alto 46-1, added five more second-half goals to provide the final margin.
