Women's Soccer Defeats Cobleskill on the Road

The women's soccer team logged a 4-0 victory over SUNY Cobleskill, at an away game Sept. 17.

Junior Lindsay Eberhart put ESF on the board at the 19-minute mark off an assist from freshman Abby Thomas. Senior Alyssa Hughes added to the lead with a goal at the 28-minute mark. ESF led 2-0 at half time.

In the second half, Eberhart returned the favor with an assist to Thomas for another ESF goal at the 65-minute mark. Hughes scored again at the 78-minute off another assist by Thomas. ESF won with a final score of 4-0.

The Mighty Oaks improve to 6-0 overall. Junior goalkeeper Lauren Claeys has not allowed a single goal all season. ESF looks to keep its undefeated record and pride intact versus HVIAC conference rival Albany Pharmacy, Sept. 21, in the inaugural game at ESF's new athletic field in Tully.
