Scranton, PA - Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball traveled to take on Penn State Scranton today in their second PSUAC match-up of the season.
Beaver came out ready to play today looking for their first win of the season. In the first half of the game, Scranton came out early scoring the first basketball a minute into the game. Beaver responded shortly after getting their first bucket of the game and held Scranton close for the entire first half. At the end of the first, Scranton led 21-19. Going into the second half, Beaver was ready to play. The second half remained neck-in-neck, with Beaver leading by 7 points at one point. Both teams continuously scored throughout the game, The second half closed in a tie at 50-50. Going into overtime, Scranton was able to score 9 points and Beaver scored 1. Scranton was able to take home the win 59-51.
Senior Izaiah Dickerson (Washington, DC) led Beaver tonight finishing the game with 20 points, 3blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 16 rebounds. Senior Devon Johnson (Washington, DC) finished with 13 points, 1 block, 1 steal, 3 assists, and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Chris Green (Washington, DC) finished with 9 points and 3 assists.
