New Jersey men's soccer team blitzed by Bobcats, as Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse cruises to 9-0 victory

The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team was dominated on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse by a score of 9-0. The match was played at the CNY Family Sports Centre in Syracuse, NY. With the defeat, the Knights have now lost two consecutive matches, falling to 4-2-1 with the loss. The Bobcats improved to a mark of 4-0, staying undefeated with the triumph.

Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse did all of its damage offensively in the opening half. Eight different players scored goals for the Bobcats. The onslaught began in the fourth minute, when Yago Pimenta found the back of the net at 3:22 (from Jon Stublla). Bryant & Stratton Syracuse made it 2-0 at 11:33 when Mark Parchment recorded a goal (assisted by Andrew Gutzmore). Romaine Williamson scored his first of two goals on the day at 26:00, burying the ball into the net (from Luke Deacy) to make it 3-0.

The Bobcats' other six goals on the day were scored by Jon Stublla (at 32:10, from Pimenta), Williamson (34:10, unassisted), Connor McGoldrick (36:20, from Delano Hodge), Hodge (40:03, unassisted), Bogdan Milovanovic (42:23, from Christian Osorto), and Seydou Diallo (44:02, assisted by Felipe Pampolim).

Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse out-shot Berkeley by a final count of 16-3.
