CONCORD, N.H. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team travelled to #4 NHTI on Saturday, Oct. 22 to fight for a trip to the Yankees Small College Conference (YSCC) Final Four.

How It Happened

The Seawolves started quick with senior Eriksen Shea (Freeport, Maine) scoring in the 1st minute assisted by sophomore Laszlo Dorogi (West Boylston, Mass). In the 4th minute Shea struck again with the same combination of Dorogi to double the road team's lead.

Shea responded to a NHTI goal with his third of the game on a delivery from first-year William Perry (Gorham, Maine) to keep a two-goal distance. The Lynx retaliated with three unanswered scores to take a 4-3 lead. First-year Giovani Lopez (Casco, Maine) leveled the scoreboard by way of an assist from Shea.

Both Shea and first-year Alberto Kissaka (Biddeford, Maine) found equalizers for the Seawolves before sophomore Isreal Perez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) put SMCC on top for the final time in the dying minutes of regulation.
