The Huskies collected their first victory of the season against Vaughn College in dominating fashion. The Huskies set the tone with an opening goal from Lucas Cardin just 4:58 into the game, the Huskies scored 2 more in the first half before going into halftime with a 3-0 lead. The second half was busy with Mark Schneider scoring 2 goals in less than 5 minutes into the second half. Lucas Cardin also added two more goals to secure the team's first hat trick to take a 7-0 lead with less than 19 minutes remaining. The scoring did not stop there, with Oliver Niedzielski adding 2 more goals to finish off a 9-0 route.
