CORONA, N.Y. - The Vaughn College men's basketball team have had a difficult four-game stretch to open their 2022-23 season. The Warriors finally returned home to host the Webb Institute Webbies on Tuesday, November 15. The Warriors jumped out to a huge lead in the first half and held the Webbies to 10 points. The Warriors never looked back and would go on to win their first game of the season in front of their home crowd. 

Three players scored in double figures in the triumph. DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX)  scored 14 points on 6-8 shooting. Joshua Waithe (Brooklyn, NY) had his best game of the season. Waithe registered 14 points and nine rebounds. Ean Chambers (Ewing Township, NJ) added 12 points, four rebounds and two assists.

Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) and Fabrizio Dottin (Queens, NY)  chipped in nine points and eight points respectively. 

The Warriors look to continue their good play on Friday, November 18. They will host New School for their Homecoming game.
