PAUL SMITH'S, N.Y.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer program recorded a 4-0 win at Paul Smith's College (PSC) to keep undefeated in Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) play Saturday, Sept. 14.

SMCC produced all of its offense in the first half. First-year striker Keto Tchiputo (Portland, Maine) scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the early-goings before Blake Collins (Calais, Maine) netted this second of his rookie campaign. First-year Joel Musese (Auburn, Maine) blew it open weaving in and out of the PSC defense to push one by the Bobcat keeper before the first half clock expired.

Both teams played to a 0-0 draw in the second half, allowing the SeaWolves their second shutout victory of the season.

Head Coach Brian Dougher commented, "Our attack woke up and utilized their physical abilities to score four great goals. I'm impressed with the way our guys handled the pressure from Paul Smith's and ultimately stay undefeated in a competitive Yankee conference."

SMCC pushes its win streak to four games and improves to 4-1 overall, 3-0 YSCC. Paul Smith's dips to 1-5 overall, 0-3 in conference action.

The SeaWolves look to avenge a YSCC playoff defeat by NHTI a season ago when they travel back to Concord, N.H. to take on the Lynx on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
