CONCORD, N.H.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Lynx of NHTI in Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) action on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The home team used a goal by Albert Busimba to jump on the scoreboard early, inside five minutes of the opening whistle. Sophomore Laszlo Dorogi (West Boylston, Mass.) put away his third of the season to even the match at 53:45.

Neither team could find the back of the net for the remainder, SMCC totaling just three shots on goal to NHTI's six. First-year Ian Allen (Avon, Maine) recorded five saves in 90 minutes of work.

SMCC stands 1-5-2 thus far, 1-1-1 YSCC.

The Seawolves continue their conference slate in a meeting with top-ranked Paul Smith's College in New York on Saturday, Oct. 1.
