Front Royal, VA – Christendom Crusaders Volleyball defeated the Mid Atlantic Christian University Mustangs this past Friday by a score of 3-1.
The Crusaders and the Mustangs were both determined to end the match victorious. The first set was a tough fight with the set ending 25-20 in favor of the Crusaders. However, the Mustangs bounced back in set 2, winning 28-26. After dropping the second set, the Crusaders came out strong and dominated the final two sets, to take home the victory. They won the third set 25-16 and the fourth set 25-18 to win the match 3-1. Christendom's Nora Ross (Freshman/Tulsa, OK) had an impressive match with a total of 26 kills and 30.0 points. Claire Mense (Senior/Lakeland, FL) and Fiona Briggs (Senior/Front Royal, VA) were also game leaders with 25 digs, while Mense notched an impressive 43 assists.
Next Up: Crusader Volleyball will travel to West Virginia to play in a Tri-Match on Saturday, October 1st vs Appalachian Bible College and Welch College.
