Eagles Fall At LCCC In Straight Sets

Lorain County Community College beat the Golden Eagles volleyball team in three straight sets on Friday night at the Ewing Activities Center in Lorain, OH.

The Commodores outdueled KSU Tuscarawas in the first set, taking a hard fought 26-24 victory in the first meeting between the two teams loaded with underclassmen. After that, it was mostly LCCC with the upper hand as they took the second and third sets by scores of 25-14 and 25-15. The loss dropped the Eagles to 9-5 on the season, while LCCC raised their record to 8-4.

On Saturday, the Eagles travel to Cincinnati Clermont for a tri match against Boyce College and the host Cougars with the first match at 1:00 p.m.
