Robert Hobson of Johnson & Wales NC is the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week.  Hobson was named MVP of the 8th Annual John Benchoff Memorial Torunament hosted by Penn State Mont Alto over the weekend.  In an 89-85 win over Penn State York on Friday, Hobson has 24 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.  He scored 8 of the team’s last 11 points in the final 2:30 of the game.  In the finale on Saturday, the senior from Huntersville, NC scored 20 points, pulled down 4 rebounds, and handed out 4 assists in the Wildcats 76-61 win over Penn State Mont Alto.
