J’Quavious Thurmond of NHTI is the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week. Thurmond continued his stellar play for the Lynx this past weekend in the NHTI New Year’s Classic. On Saturday in an 82-78 win over Springfield Tech, he tallied 27 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and three steals. In Sunday’s Game, Thurmond contributed 16 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in an 84-72 win over Berkeley College.
