Waters' 18 Not Enough as Bobcats Fall Short at NAIA Foe Notre Dame (OH)

On Wednesday, the Bobcats headed to Ohio to battle the Notre Dame Falcons of the NAIA, who entered with a 7-2 overall record, and 5-1 mark in MEC Conference play. The two teams battled, as Buffalo hung tough and was tied with the Falcons near the midway point in the second half, but the home team pulled away late, downing Buffalo 86-75.

Eric Waters led a pack of five Bobcats in double-figures with 18 points and eight rebounds. He was 8-13 from the floor and 2-3 from deep. Sam Dorissaint scored 14 and RaeQuan Scott added 12. Both Davon Ware and Denzel Fuller scored 11 points each.
Buffalo shot 50.8 percent for the game and 35 percent from three but Notre Dame caught fire from deep, shooting 50 percent from three and making 11 of 22 attempts. Jaedon Willis scored 26 and went 6-11 from deep.
Notre Dame edged Bryant & Stratton 32-29 on the boards but Buffalo was able to come up with nine steals.
