The women's soccer team had one game over the weekend, a 2-0 win over the Bobcats of Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse. ESF's two goals came in the second half and were scored by junior midfielder Sarah Lundy (60th minute, assisted by Bryony Striffler) with her first goal of the season and Heather Carl (70th minute, assisted by Jessie Smith). It was Carl's seventh goal of the season. With the win, the women's team improves to 6-1 overall and is now ranked second nationally by the USCAA. The women will play Broome Community College Oct. 7.
