LEXINGTON, Va. (Oct. 9, 2007) - The SVU Fall Invitational
concluded with Shenandoah University taking first place with a
two-day total of 599. The Hornets shot a 296 on day two at the
Lexington Golf and Country Club, setting an SVU Invitational
record.
The Knights took seventh and were led by JD Mason (T-19th) who
carded a two-day total of 161, including an 82 at Lexington. Brett
Schroeder was second on the team with a 175 (85-90) and was 30th
overall.
The Builders were third with BJ Maben coming in second
individually to lead them with a 144 (72-72). Chris Everett
was next in line tied for sixth at 149 (74-75).
Shenandoah's Josh Wiegand earned medalist honors by shooting a 69
on day two for a 142 overall.
