This week’s USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Co-Player of the Week honor goes to Justin Stokes of Villa Maria College. Stokes averaged 18 points, 7 assists, five rebounds, and three steals as the Villa Maria Vikings won both games during the week.  In their first game, Stokes hit the game winning free throws with 1.8 seconds left to give Villa an 87-86 victory over Division I institution SUNY Canton. He had a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists in the game. Against University of Maine Presque Isle, Stokes scored 19 points and added nine rebounds and four steals and hit the game winning shot with 2.9 seconds left to give Villa a 73-71 come from behind win.  He scored 12 of his 19 points in the second half as the Vikings were able to overcome an 18-point second half deficit. For the week, Stokes also posted a 3.0 a/to ratio and shot 56% from the floor.
