Matt Houlihan of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has been named USCAA Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. The sophomore goalkeeper saved two penalty kicks against Berkeley College-NY in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association (HVIAC) men’s soccer semifinals. Houlihan was not done, as he made three more penalty kick saves during kicks from the mark in the championship game against SUNY ESF. Houlihan already set a new school record for career shutouts with 25 in just two years.
