Abby Stroud of Carlow University is the USCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. Stroud made six appearances on the mound for the Celtics of Carlow University. Three of those were starts, two of which she earned the win. She has four strikeouts against Rio Grande College (30-11) in six innings of relief work in a 1-0 loss. In a 6-2 victory over WVU Tech, the New Jersey native struck out eight batters and surrendered two earned runs. Her final start of the week was in the first game of a double-header against Brescia University, where she pitched a complete game giving up only three hits.
