Women's Volleyball Player of the Week - September 2, 2014

Earning this week’s Volleyball Player of the Week is senior Kay Pfleghardt of Alfred State College. Over the weekend, Pfleghardt and Alfred State College participated in the USCAA Tip-Off Tourney hosted by Penn State Beaver. In fourteen sets during the tournament, Pfledhardt recorded 4.36 kills per set for a total of 61 kills. She also managed to tally 72 digs throughout the tournament. For her efforts, Pfleghardt earned a spot on the All-Tournament team and helped her team to a second place finish. Also participating in the USCAA Tip-Off Tourney was Robert Morris University Springfield, Rochester College, Penn State Beaver, and Penn State Greater Allegheny.
