Schuylkill controlled the game from the opening tip, never trailing and leading by as many as 26 points late in the third quarter. After a 21-13 first quarter, they broke the game open with a 16-6 second quarter run, heading into halftime up 37-19. Wilkes-Barre attempted to battle back in the fourth quarter, but Schuylkill's defense and rebounding secured the win. The home team capitalized on points in transition, second-chance opportunities, and a balanced offensive attack to seal the victory.
