JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (14-4) sophomore guard Manny Roach (Medford, NJ/Life Center Academy) set school single-game USCAA records with 43 points, including eight three-point field goals and 18 three-point field goal attempts, and tied a school single-game USCAA record with 15 overall field goals made, as the eighth-ranked USCAA Division I Blue Jays defeated the 13th-ranked USCAA Division II Bucks County Community (14-13), 103-80.
Manor led the entire first half. The Blue Jays held multiple double-digit leads (21-10, 23-13, 24-13, 25-15, 27-17, 30-20, 33-22, and 36-25) in the first half, leading as much as by 12 (34-22), on Roach's three-point basket and free throw with 6:15 remaining in the first half. Bucks County closed the gap to 39-34 with 3:51 left junior forward Jaquis Heath's three-point basket. The Blue Jays opened up a pair of double-digit leads (44-34 and 47-37) in the latter part of the first half. The Centurions closed the deficit to 47-41 on sophomore guard Jeremy Henry's jump shot with 0:22.5 left.. Manor led at halftime, 47-41. The Blue Jays' 47 first-half points are a season high, surpassing the 46 they scored versus Bucks County on November 19, 2024. Roach led both teams with 15 points. Junior forward Bryce Nwobu (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) added 13 points for Manor.
Bucks County closed the gap early in the second half to 54-53 on sophomore guard George Marion's free throws. After Roach's three-point basket with 12:59 left gave Manor a 64-57 lead, the Centurions responded with a 10-3 run, and tied the contest at 67 on Marion's layup with 9:45 remaining. This was the only time of this game when it was tied. The Blue Jays took the lead for good, 70-67, on Roach's three-point basket with 9:32 left. The Centurions got as close in the next possession, 70-69, on Heath's layup with 9:14 remaining. Defensively, Manor held Bucks County four baskets and 11 points for the remaining 9:14 of the game. Between 8:58 and 4:30 (a 4:25 stretch), the Blue Jays expanded its lead to 86-71 on senior guard Namir Simmons' (Philadelphia, PA/Quality Academy Prep) jump shot. When Roach sank a three-point basket with 2:26 left, he broke his own school single-game USCAA scoring record when he scored 36 versus Central Pennsylvania College on February 1, 2024. Manor opened up a 20-point lead, 95-75, on sophomore forward Deacon Linder's (Philadelphia, PA/Hardy Williams Academy [Mastery]) putback basket off of a missed shot with 2:01 left. This finished off a 21-4 run between 8:58 and 2:01 (a 6:57 stretch). The Blue Jays went over the 100-point mark for the first time this season on Nwobu's steal and slam dunk with 0:51.2 remaining. Manor took its largest lead of the game, 103-80, on Roach's free throws with 0:40.2 left. The Blue Jays finished the remaining 9:32 on a 36-13 run after the Centurions tied the game at 67. Roach scored 20 of Manor's final 36 points. The Blue Jays outscored the Centurions in the second half, 56-39. Manor's 56 second-half points are a season high for both halves, eclipsing the 55 they scored in the second half versus USCAA Division I Bryant and Stratton College-Rochester on December 6, 2024 and NCAA Division III University of Valley Forge on November 21, 2024. Roach led both teams with 27 points. Simmons added 12 points for the Blue Jays. Heath paced Bucks County with 11 points.
This was Manor's first Men's Basketball Conference/Championship win in its program history after finishing runners-up six times. This victory broke multiple postseason losing streaks. The Blue Jays won its postseason game since March 4, 2016, when they defeated the Raritan Valley Community College Vikings, 87-73, in the NJCAA Region XIX Division II Semifinals at the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey, breaking a nine-game skid. This was also the Blue Jays' first postseason win as a USCAA member in seven games. This was also Manor's first postseason home win since February 24, 2015 when they defeated Raritan Valley in the NJCAA Region XIX Division II First Round, 73-64, breaking a two-game losing streak.
Statistical Leaders: In addition to Roach, Nwobu scored 19 points and broke Rahmaad Dejarnette's school single-game USCAA record with 23 rebounds. Dejarnette pulled down 18 rebounds versus Pennsylvania State University-Brandywine on November 13, 2021 in the Brandywine Tournament Semifinals. In addition to Nwobu and Roach (who also had 11 rebounds), two Blue Jays also contributed the following "double-doubles": Linder (12 points and 10 rebounds) and Simmons (14 points and 11 assists). Junior forward Cheikh Diagne (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) scored 15 points for the Blue Jays.

Manor Hosting Postseason Games: Manor hosted its first postseason game since joining the USCAA for the 2021-2022 season. They previously hosted a postseason game on March 6, 2018 versus Ulster County Community College in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX Division II First Round. Hosting postseason contests, Manor is 10-4 overall (1-0 USCAA, 1-2 NJCAA and 8-2 EPCC) (since 1994-1995) (2001-2002 season missing).
Blue Jays Continue Its Winning Ways: The Blue Jays have won nine straight overall and 13 of its last 14 games. The nine consecutive wins surpasses the five straight they won between November 20 and December 15, 2024. The Blue Jays previously won nine straight overall from January 14 to February 15, 2017 when they were NJCAA Region XIX Division II members.
Manor Continues to Win in Double-Figures (Since 2021-2022): Manor has won eight of its last nine games overall by double-digits. They have won in double figures nine times overall (five at home) this season. The Blue Jays have won in double-figures 21 times overall (16 at home) since the 2021-2022 season
Manor Leading at Halftime (Since 2021-2022): Manor is 11-2 overall (5-2 at home, including five straight wins) this season leading at halftime, including eight consecutive wins. Manor is 28-8 overall (15-5 at home) when leading at halftime since joining the USCAA.
Reaching the Century Mark: The Blue Jays scored 100 points for the first time this season and the seventh since joining the USCAA for the 2021-2022. They previously scored 100 points in a postseason game on February 11, 2005 at home in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Postseason Tournament versus Harrisburg Area Community College (105-78).
