Home Opener loss to USCAA D1 Berkeley New Jersey

In a tough match for Penn State New Kensington, they fell 4-0 to Berkeley-NJ on September 6, 2024. Berkeley-NJ dominated both halves, with two goals in each. Jasen DeJesus opened the scoring at the 16:13 mark in the first half with an assist from Suad Lukovic, followed by Gabriel Borges just minutes later with an assist from Alejandro Mayorga to make it 2-0. Berkeley-NJ extended their lead in the second half with a goal from Lukovic and another from DeJesus, putting the game out of reach.

Penn State New Kensington struggled offensively, registering 11 shots with 8 on goal but couldn't find the back of the net. Berkeley-NJ's goalkeepers, Victor Batista and Jack Giannini, combined for 8 saves, effectively shutting out Penn State New Kensington.
