KSU Tuscarawas Finishes Runner-Up in USCAA Tip-Off Tournament

Kent State Tuscarawas continued Day 2 at the USCAA Tip-Off Tournament held at Penn State Beaver campus and the Golden Eagles finished the weekend coming up just short in the championship in a hard fought battle with Florida National.

In the Semi-Finals earlier in the day, the Golden Eagles beat Johnson & Wales (NC), 3-1 in set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-15, 25-14. Rylee Sensabaugh had 18 kills, Cayla Shrimplin had 18 digs and Ava McFarland had 19 assists for the winners

In the Championship, Kent State Tusc lost to Florida National, 1-3 in their second four set battle of the afternoon 17-25, 25-13, 23-25, 17-25. Rylee Sensabaugh had 16 kills and 20 assists, while Lizzy Keller had 19 digs.

Kent State Tuscarawas is set to play College of Wooster in Founders Hall Gymnasium, on Wednesday, September 4th at 6PM.
