Game 1: Penn State Schuylkill 12, SUNY Corning 2 (5 innings)

Penn State Schuylkill's baseball team returned from spring break in dominant fashion, securing a 12-2 mercy-rule victory over SUNY Corning in five innings at Blue Mountain High School.

SUNY Corning took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but Schuylkill quickly responded with a run in the first, second, and third innings before breaking the game open in the fourth and fifth.

Schuylkill sealed the win with a six-run fifth inning, highlighted by Owen Shoop's three-run home run to left field and an RBI single from Zimmerman.


Game 2: Penn State Schuylkill 9, SUNY Corning 1 (7 innings)

The momentum carried into Game 2, as Penn State Schuylkill pounded out 13 hits en route to a 9-1 victory to complete the doubleheader sweep.

After Corning scratched across a run in the first, Schuylkill immediately responded with a run of their own and took the lead in the second, never looking back. A five-run third inning put the game out of reach.
