NORTH EAST, MD—National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region Division II Cecil College (3-2-0) freshmen midfielders Bent Althoff and Joshua Duzan scored second half goals as the Seahawks defeated the eighth-ranked United Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Manor Blue Jays (3-2-0), 2-0.  

The match was scoreless at halftime. This is the third time in four matches this season that the Blue Jays were tied at halftime.  Cecil outshot Manor in the first half, 10 (six on goal) to seven (two on goal).

Seahawk freshman midfielder Jannis Braun passed the ball to Althoff around the 18-yard line. Althoff's chip shot went into the upper right-hand corner of the net (57:03) for his first goal of the season. Following a Manor foul, Jannis' direct kick went to Duzan.  Duzan's headshot went into the left side of the net for his first goal of the season (65:08).  Braun had two assists in this match. Seahawk freshman goalkeeper Finnegan Tome registered his first shutout of the season, making five saves.  Cecil outshot Manor in the second half, 11 (five on goal) to seven (three on goal).  The Seahawks outshot the Blue Jays for the match, 21 (11 on goal) to 16 (five on goal).
