Penn State Mont Alto 20, Christendom College 6

Penn State Mont Alto hosted Christendom for a single 9-inning game on Wednesday. An offensive outburst from Mont Alto allowed them to get the mercy rule win in seven innings over Christendom 20-6.

In the top of the second Christendom would get the scoring started when a walk would allow one run to score. Then a single to right center from P Amuso would score two more runs. Another single from G Coleman would score one more, making the score 4-0 in favor of Christendom.

In the bottom of the second, a sac fly from Nicholas Leckert would score one run. Later in the inning, a double from Gavin kissel would score one more run, making the score 4-2.

In the bottom of the third inning, Mont Alto's Wyatt Kissel would double to right field, scoring one run on the play. Garrett Worth would then single through the left side and two more runs would score.

In the top of the fifth inning, a double from E Thomas would score two runs and make the score 6-6.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, a wild pitch would open the scoring and then a walk. Later in the inning, a double from Cameron Bailey scored two more runs. Then Gavin Kissel would steal second and Dylan Morgan Would steal home on the throw to second. Caiden Smith would then hit a two RBI double to right center field. An error by Christendom's first basemen would allow one more run to score. Next, Gavin Kissel would single to right field and two more runs score on the play.

In the bottom of the sixth, a wild pitch would allow one run to score. Then a double down the left field line from Nate Smith would score one more run and make the final score 20-6 in favor of Mont Alto.
